San Fernando Cathedral

Standing at the direct center of the city, the San Fernando Cathedral is the oldest continuously used cathedral in America. Originally constructed by the first Spanish immigrants to San Antonio, a group from the Canary Islands off the African coast, in 1749 it was renovated in 1898 and again in 2004.
